Majunke International Sales acts as an intermediary between international service providers and the sales markets of Central Europe and CIS. With over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry, the company founder Claudia Majunke has extensive knowledge of the mechanisms necessary for linking foreign services with sales and commercial activities in the source markets. Majunke International Sales provides no off-the-peg solutions but focusses exclusively on individual sales and marketing solutions. Our goal is to increase short, medium and long-term sales.

Company owner Claudia Majunke has 25 years of experience in tourism. An apprenticeship in a travel agency was followed by many years with a tour operator and various stays abroad. In 1994 she successfully opened the representation office for Abercrombie & Kent in Frankfurt before taking over regional sales management for South African Airways. In 1999 she ran the sales office of Kerzner International in Frankfurt, looking after DACH and the Netherlands, during which time she was able to develop the Russian market for the One&Only and Atlantis brands, becoming responsible for One&Only Resorts international in 2007. In 2010 she became independent and founded Majunke International Sales.

Elena Link developed an early passion for geography and her constant wanderlust made her want to be able to make her home anywhere in the world so it wasn’t surprising that she decided to study tourism. Her first job after graduating from the University of Trier led to her becoming a tourism consultant at the European Tourism Institute. In 1999 she moved to the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, where she worked for ten years as a PR and marketing consultant responsible for the German-speaking, Northern and Eastern European markets. She has been with us since 2012 as a Marketing Executive.

Desiree Brandscheidt gained her first experience in sales and marketing while studying tourism. Semesters abroad in San Francisco and on Mallorca fed her enthusiasm for tourism and travel. After her studies she started her professional journey with a trainee program at Steigenberger Hotels, where she subsequently joined the Convention & Sales Department. She has been energetically supporting us since June 2017 as Sales Manager.

Angelika E. Ardelt, M.A., is one of the two founders and managing director of Text&Aktion and has almost 30 years of experience in strategic marketing communication and cross-brand campaigns. She leads strategic agenda setting for all clients, manages crisis communications and leads destination teams. She enjoys creative storytelling and has a natural sense of which story has the potential to take off. One of Angelika's professional shining moments was discovering the floating pigs in The Bahamas as a now famous USP. Her tenacity to always go the extra mile to achieve defined KPIs is unmatched.

Birgit Rapp, M.A., co-founder of Text&Aktion has a wealth of experience in all areas of PR and public affairs. In her role as Deputy Managing Director and Account Director, she never tires of sharing her experience with team members and clients. Tailor-made media relations and creative 360 degree publishing cooperations are in good hands with her. Media partners appreciate her service-oriented approach, her understanding of editorial issues and the cooperation at eye level. Meeting people from other cultural backgrounds without culture clash is the priceless "added benefit" for her when working in tourism, and the long-standing, friendly business relationships with "target customers".


IT & Administration

Alexander Majunke

Alexander Majunke is responsible for finance, administration and information technology.

Burkhard Wolf has been working in the IT industry for 30 years. After many years of experience with one of the internationally renowned consulting companies, he spent the last 20 years as the Managing Director of an IT service provider and software development company. In the meantime, he has returned to consulting and interim management. For Majunke International Sales he is jointly responsible for information technology.
