Palladium Hotel Group

The Palladium Hotel Group hotel chain was founded in Ibiza at the end of the 1960s by the entrepreneur Abel Matutes Juan, who had the dream of bringing travellers closer to paradise and offering them an exceptional holiday. He set out to create exclusive accommodation based on luxury, quality and high-class service. He began in the Balearic and Canary Islands and continued his adventure in the early 1990s with several resorts in the Caribbean. The successful entrepreneur soon opened hotels in Spain, Italy, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Brazil. In 2012, the group decided to renew its corporate image and became Palladium Hotel Group, adopting the name of its 5-star resorts in the Caribbean. The aim was to convey a corporate philosophy based on excellence and high quality standards.
