Lined up like a string of pearls, the 365 cays of the Exumas lie surrounded by turquoise-blue water. Most of them are uninhabited and their reefs, caves and beaches are a popular stop on
sailing trips.
Around the Exumas the water is so inviting that even pigs like to go swimming. Their preferred spot is close to Staniel Cay’s yacht club.
Very special animal encounters can also be had in Compass Point: swimming with Nurse Sharks.
On Grand Exuma, the 18-hole course of Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Bahamas.
